Northwell Health Fertility

Since 1976, Northwell Health Fertility has been a leader in reproductive and infertility medicine, and has been at the forefront of research into the reproductive sciences. We are respected for our success rates and recognized for our scientific achievements. Our highly trained physicians are double board certified in Reproductive Medicine and Ob/Gyn. They have been educated and trained at the nation’s top universities and hold faculty appointments with the Hofstra Northwell Health School of Medicine. We are proud that our Chief, Dr. Avner Hershlag, has been named one of Castle Connelly’s top doctors for the past two years.

Our freestanding facility on the Manhasset campus of North Shore University Hospital is home to state-of-the-art procedure and recovery rooms, as well as the area’s most advanced and secure andrology and embryology laboratories. We provide complete clinical services, the most current surgical techniques, and the full spectrum of assisted reproduction technologies at our Manhasset office. For the convenience of our patients, monitoring and diagnostics are also available at our Mineola, Smithtown, Flushing and Manhattan locations.

Each year more than 5,000 couples seek help at our facility, and find a caring, understanding team of professionals prepared to help them through the stress of facing infertility. We offer them not just hope, but the full resources of a leader in the treatment of infertility and research into its causes. Ours is the longest standing, most experienced program on Long Island, with a history of accomplishment dating back to 1976. The majority of our patients will achieve successful outcomes, despite the fact that we accept even the most challenging cases. We count more than 25,000 babies as a living testament to our success.
